Network Engineers - When it comes to those that are Routing and Switching inclined there is one vendor to rule them all. Cisco - Cisco are the gold standard when it comes to network engineering certifications and provide you credibility throughout your whole career. If you’re early on in your profession, a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification is a great introduction into the world of Cisco. As you move up in the ranks you can gain professional-level certifications with a CCNP or even begin the gruelling journey towards gaining your Cisco Certified Internet Expert (CCIE) and join a small internationally renowned club of Cisco experts.
Systems Engineers - If servers are your style, you might want to consider the following certifications depending on your preferences. Aligned towards on-premise and legacy systems? Look no further than the VMware Certified Professional (VCP) certification. If modern desktops are more your speed, consider adding a Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals certification to your arsenal. Or.. if you’re into the Linux side of things, you can’t go wrong with a RedHat Certified Systems Engineer certification to solidify your credibility.
Cloud Engineers - These days, life is all about the cloud. If you’re on your cloud journey or are trying to migrate your career to the cloud there are two main paths you can go down.
